Lucky Finds Today

I was at the mall and been looking around my favorite toy shops and I found these lucky finds. I was chasing the dark blue Lincoln Navigator for quite sometime and even have some on watch list in Ebay. I'm stunned to see one dangling on the peg. Now, I only need to hunt are the maroon and the white superfast to complete my Matchbox Lincoln Navigator line.

And then I was a bit apprehensive in getting the Jeep Willys since I already have two but thinking it was a variant. When I got home, I immediately checked my stash and to my surprise it really is a variant (rim shades are lighter than the first two I got).

The Ice Cream truck was a no brain er since I already got the first one and I'm afraid another line is in the offing.

Larry's Garage Bone Shaker

This came from the Hot Wheels TRU exclusive 21 car set Larry's Garage. Mel, a close friend who migrated to the US last year, has left me this beautiful piece to take care until he comes back home. At first, it does not attract me, but until I take a closer look. Wow! I marveled how it was nicely done. It got very very nice fine details. A great piece. Now, I am contemplating if I would start to collect this line. Mel here's your request. :)

A Case of Two Lancer EX Turbos

The case in point...a very close friend gave this to me two years ago as a RAOK (random act of kindness - will make a separate blog to this nice subject)...
...then I got this another beautiful piece just recently...a pure Japanese...

Jumpstarting 2010

First of all, I'd like to greet everyone a....

Happy New Year!!!

You know what? I was having difficulty in deciding on what to title this blog.

But since I made my first diecast purchase of the year and thought it's fitting to say it jump start my diecast collection year.

And I also like to take the opportunity to list down my diecast resolution.

1) Focus - I still have some priority lines to complete, so hopefully this year I can complete them.
2) Priority to Tomica & Matchbox
3) Sad to say...purchase will be put to minimum.
4) 1:1
5) 1:1
6) 1:1
7) 1:1
8) Compute!
9) Compute!
10) Compute!

Hopefully, I can complete my priority lines and get my new 1:1 within the year. More blogs for 2010.
